Replacement of 50 Gallon water heater with new and haul away of old heater. Attempted to install standard 50 gallon WH in the original position next to furnace. Relocated hot and cold supply and gas line, new male adapters on hot and cold water lines new ball valve, new flex lines, new gas valve and flexible supply line, added a drain pan and sediment trap. In middle of install, vent would not connect at the right angle. Removed standard 50 and installed a lowboy 50 gallon with a height of 48-1/4”. Attached every connection after relocating earthquake straps. Checked for leaks. 2 year warranty on parts and labor from JIG. 6 year manufacturer warranty from Bradford & White.

Replaced sub surface failed piping with new type L copper pipe above ground to building to supply fire sprinkler system, two wall hung commercial faucets, two bathroom sinks and two bathroom toilets with new hose bib for irrigation purposes.

Technician will snake via access cleanout. Technician was successful in clearing the line. Technician pulled out large amounts of sludge build up. Due to the amount of sludge technician will not be able to warranty the line and highly recommended to hydro jet kitchen sink.

Existing water line for the back building is leaking. Rather than do direct access and make a spot repair, JIG Plumbing recommends installing a new water line for the building, and do new water lines for the fixtures within the building. New 2” copper piping will be run along the wall in the outside area, and reconnect to the fire sprinkler riser, as well as a new shut off for the riser, and a new branch for the water line to feed the building in order to reconnect to the existing faucets for the sinks, and new emergency shut offs for the toilets. Any drywall that needs removal will be re-patched with texture.

Technician will make emergency galvanized repair utilizing G couplings. No warranty due to the condition of the pipe.

Technician will camera via access cleanout.

Courtesy follow up call from Saturdays work to locate the line and provide an accurate inspection and estimate. Ran courtesy cable down laundry line to prevent back ups in the future. Kitchen is still backed up, emailed estimate to Danny for review and approval.

JIG plumbing will replace two Moen shower cartridges and flush system of debris. Before putting back trim, we will check for leaks by the cartridge and valve. Master shower handle had to be broken off. Both cartridges replaced. Customer will buy new handle from Home Depot.

JIG plumbing will snake the kitchen drain from the strainer with the 1/4” snake. If that doesn’t unclog it, we will need to drop the trap and snake with a 3/8 snake from the trap outlet. In the unlikely event we can’t clear the drain with a snake, we will make recommendations. Snaked from the top and it cleared. 45 day warranty.

Replace hot side supply line as water is leaking from supply connection to the heater. If nipple needs to be replaced, we will need to come back Monday and replace the nipple and supply, additional $75 for nipple. One year warranty parts and labor. Replaced hot and cold supply lines to water heater and checked for leaks. One year warranty.

Kitchen drain did not unclog after running the 3/8” (bigger) cable. Cable was hitting the blockage and spinning, but not penetrating the blockage. Recommended to perform a chain-scrape descale on the pipe using a descale machine. If descale does not work, we would discount 50% and provide a quote toward a pipe replacement. Up to a one year warranty on the descale depending on the pipe condition. Attempted descale, but hitting dirt and not moving or making progress. Recommended to excavate pipe and replace.

Supply and install new 40 gallon nat. gas water heater up to code and manufacturer specifications. Installed new sediment trap, smitty pan, and water supplies. Reconnected temperature and pressure relief valve.

Upon arrival, kitchen sink is backed up, trap is removed and trap outlet connection is broken. Recommended to unclog kitchen drain, then replace p trap, trap arm, and trap arm outlet

Upon arrival homeowner requested plumbers report. Upon arrival homeowner notified technician source of leak occurring upstairs in hallway guest bathroom. After diagnosis and information gathered from the homeowner technician was able to conclude that the supply line connecting to toilet bidet suddenly leaked overtime as no one was home. Technician resolved the issue eliminating the leak. NO WARRANTY

JIG Plumbing will install one inch type L copper from the city meter to the 1” tee going into the house. We will stub up roughly 7” before tee with a new whole house emergency shut off valve, new pressure regulator, use a 90 degree elbow to attach to a new copper tee. We will install a new 3/4” replaceable threaded hose bib. We will neatly remove grass in squares and replace grass when finished. Customer can expect the lawn to look almost as neat as it is now, with the possibility of some dirt in the grass. We cannot guarantee that the grass will survive, but in almost every case the grass looks completely unchanged two months after the work is complete. If we damage a sprinkler line, we will repair it. We will backfill and flip grass squares and water, organizing as much dirt as possible. Replace existing disposal with new standard grade disposal.

Investigated leak near water heater. The technician was informed of a toilet on the other side of the wall where most of the water was. Upon further investigation the technician found the leak was coming from the toilet wax seal. The technician pulled the toilet, cleaned, and prepared the mounting system at the floor and reset the toilet with a new wax seal and mounting hardware. While the toilet was pulled it was clear that the wax ring never made contact with the toilet which was the cause of the leak. Warranty: 30 day labor warranty

Upon arrival, found corrosion on several angle stops in master bathroom. Removed old brasscraft multi turn angle stops and replaced with new brasscraft chrome plated quarter turn angle stops. Rubber on flex lines were all good so we reused flex lines. Checked for leaks. Angle stops are on pex pipe.
