In conclusion to improper installation and setup existing tankless mother board will need to be replaced as well as possible other components. Technician highly recommended to install new unit. JIG Plumbing returned and installed a new Noritz NR501-OD. We modified the mounting bracket, gas supply, and hot and cold water supplies to accommodate the new unit. We thoroughly checked for leaks when finished. The technician smelled gas by the gas meter and checked for gas leaks on the visible and accessible pipes. He discovered a leak at the customer side meter union. The technician tightened the union and the leak appears to be gone. However, the gas company shut off valve is also leaking. It is recommended to contact the gas company and notify them of the issue. Note: The union gasket on the customers side is crimped. Although there are no leaks at this time, replacing the gasket is recommended.

JIG Plumbing arrived and shut off the water to the home. We ran a descale solution through the heat exchanger for the tankless water heater to remove mineral buildup. The technician noticed corrosion on the gas pipe, and he traced it back to a dried up leak from the inlet water filter. The filter was not tightened, and the technician tightened the filter. If the problem persists, replacing the inlet water filter is recommended. The technician replaced the thermal expansion tank and set the pressure to match the home inlet pressure of 75 psi. He ran water at every fixture to remove air from the pipes. All fixtures are receiving adequate flow at this time.

JIG will diagnosis existing error code occurring on pre-existing tankless. In conclusion to diagnosis technician was able to identify pitted/scorched flame rod sensor. Technician then proceeded to camera inspect internals of heat exchanger and combustion chamber. Technician was able to identify evidence of overheating, and existing heat exchanger to be leaking. Technician believes the damages are caused by the existing unit currently being undersized for the facility it currently feeds.

JIG Plumbing installed a thermistor in the tankless water heater and replaced the failed heat exchanger. We also added a ScaleRX inhibitor to prevent scale buildup for up to 12 years. We'll perform a complimentary descale flush next year.

Upon arrival, the water to the whole complex is shut off. The technician received permission from the owner to shut off the subsurface valve to the home before the 1” ball valve in the garage. JIG Plumbing then turned the water to the complex on and no leaks appeared. However, once the technician opened the subsurface valve to the building, water became immediately evident. Suite #H Arrived to inspect and diagnose a toilet stoppage at womens bathroom. The technician recommended pulling the toilet to snake it since it was leaking water from the bottom of the base. Once the drain line was snaked and clear of accumulation. A camera inspection was done to determine what could be the cause of future backups. Heavy scale buildup is throughout the drain line. The technician recommends Descaling, HydroJetting. Or long term solution having it sprayed with liner.

Arrived to diagnose a tub stoppage at the master bathroom. The technician went ahead and snaked the tub from the overflow access. Hair and accumulation out.

JIG Plumbing will remove drywall to expose the existing icemaker valve pipe. We will then cut and remove the existing valve and install a new recessed icemaker valve in its place. We will check for leaks when finished. Drywall patch is not included. JIG Plumbing replaced the hall flapper at no additional charge. Other findings: 1. Hall toilet fill valve is on its way out. Replacement of the fill valve or toilet replacement is recommended. 2. The water heater is due for a flush per the manufacturers recommendations. 3. The shower handles for the Mixet valve are becoming stiff. It is recommended to replace the cartridges or to replace the valves with front side access. 4. It is recommended to replace the cold side laundry valve. The technician discussed with the customer that the fridge is leaking. The customer stated this was preexisting and the fridge will be replaced in 3 days.

Arrived to diagnose a dishwasher draining issue. Provided options and the customer decided to snake and clear the drain line connected to the dishwasher air gap. Accumulation out. Draining properly, however did recommend having a dishwasher technician inspect the pump, due to some standing water.

JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new Moen PosiTemp temp shower cartridge in the upstairs hallway, restroom. Technician will shut the water off during the process, removing the existing cartridge and installing a new Moen cartridge. After installation, technician will turn the water back on and test thoroughly to ensure proper functionality.

Technician arrived on site and was informed by the customer that the laundry machine was having issues with draining and water running properly. Upon inspection, the technician found that when the laundry drained, water would back up and come out of the exterior kitchen clean out located behind the kitchen sink. The technician also verified that when the kitchen sink was run, water would discharge from the same clean out, indicating a blockage in the kitchen/laundry drain line. Customer also informed the technician that a previously rerouted cold water line had not been reconnected to the refrigerator icemaker line and requested that it be tied back in. Upon approval, the technician used an electric snake through the exterior kitchen clean out to clear the kitchen/laundry drain line. Technician arrived on site and performed a complete tankless water heater maintenance flush to remove scale buildup and help restore optimal performance and efficiency of the unit. Technician isolated the heater, connected flushing equipment, and circulated descaling solution through the heat exchanger to thoroughly clean the internal system. Technician also removed and cleaned the inlet water filter to ensure proper water flow and prevent debris from entering the unit. After completion of service, technician reassembled the system, restored water service, and tested the unit for proper operation. Tankless water heater is operating properly at this time.

Arrived to inspect a leak at a hallway toilet. After flushing a couple of times , water started to seep through the back end of the base. The technician presented a couple of options. The toilet was pulled and reset , with double wax rings. Once installed,it was flushed and checked for leaks. Working properly.
