I was called to a home to fix a toilet that was not flushing properly. Upon inspection, I found that the toilet was clogged with a large object that was preventing water from flowing through the pipes. I used a plunger to try to clear the clog, but it was unsuccessful. I then used a snake to break up the object and clear the clog. After that, it was determined the toilet required replacement which I proceeded to complete for the customer.

Upon arrival, technician was notified about possible high water pressure incoming to the building. Technician proceeded to utilize water pressure gauge in order to determine total psi incoming, in conclusion to testing technician was able to confirm approximately 120 psi incoming to the building, which indicates that the 2 inch pressure regulating valve has failed.Technician also noticed the emergency 2 inch shut off valve handle is broken and not functional and will need to be replaced.

JIG plumbing will isolate water incoming to the building. Technicians will then modify 2 inch copper piping incoming to the building replacing a 2 inch isolation valve and removing T reconnecting onto the building once complete technicians will then pressurize to ensure that there are no leaks and optimal flow is occurring.

Upon arrival, technician was able to locate leak occurring at the bottom of the T. Technician highly recommended to rebuild water service riser incoming to the building.

JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new widespread tub valve, as the existing valve handles are frozen on and cannot be removed. Due to this issue, it is recommended to replace due to the heavy buildup of corrosion. Technician will cut a square hole in the drywall to the side of the bathtub, allowing for direct access to the valve. The valve will be disconnected from the water lines, and removed from the bathtub. Once removed, the new valve will be installed, and connected to the water lines unpainted various fittings and piping. After connection, the valve will be tested to ensure that it functions properly, and that there are no further issues. Either an access panel can be placed in the drywall, or a drywall contractor can be referred. Parts and labor warranty for up to one year from date of service.

Pressure is currently at 100 psi, one faucet is leaking, and two other faucets in master bath are corroded. JIG Plumbing will install a customer supplied 8 inch (standard) widespread faucet and pop up, connecting the new pop up to the existing p trap. We will use tephlon tape, pipe thread sealant, and/ or caulking, if applicable. We will check for leaks and functionality before leaving. One year warranty on LABOR ONLY for the faucet.
