Upon further examination, the technician found that the water line to the reverse osmosis system had blown off the shut off valve. The technician then shut off the valve and turned back on the water to the house to make sure there was no other leaks. JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new drain for the water heater, as the existing appears to be cracked and is leaking. The heater will be fully drained of water, in order for the technician to remove the existing drain port. Once the heater is empty, the existing drain port will be removed, and a new drain will be installed using brass fittings. Once installed, the heater will then be refilled in order to test the integrity of the replacement. Once it is established that there are no leaks, then be relay and should be good to go. Technician will then insert new cartridges and will reinstall pre-existing trim once completed. Technician will then install new three-quarter inch pressure regulating valve to the exterior of the home. Will then perform a complementary tankless flush. Client supplied standard elongated toilet. Technician will then pressurize water to the home to ensure that there are no leaks, and that optimal flow is occurring WARRANTY: 1 year on leaks, labor and material. Upon inspection of water leak behind the upstairs master bathroom shower, the technician entered the attic and found a 1/2” copper hot water line directly crossing over a 1/2” black iron gas line which caused electrolysis and severely corroded both of the lines which caused the hot water line to leak. The technician then cut the drywall behind the shower close to the ceiling and the corrosion continued. Estimate to repair will be provided. To repair both lines, the technician will cut both the 1/2” copper line and the 1/2” black iron gas line in the attic and replace the lines from the attic to the shower valve about halfway down the wall. Upon cut open more of the wall, if the technician finds more of the pipes need to be replaced past the shower valve then the technician will contact the owner to update the cost of repair.
