Technician flushed the tankless water heater to remove buildup and ensure optimal performance. Cleared debris from the disposal to air gap discharge hose to maintain proper drainage. Provided the customer with estimates and recommendations for installing a water softening system and a pressure reducing valve (PRV), including suggested placement and system benefits.

Arrived to diagnose a toilet stoppage upstairs. The technician gave the customer options, and the toilet was Augered first. The toilet was unable to clear, so the toilet had to be pulled to further inspect. There was heavy accumulation of paper and some sort of rubbery, gelatin material in the drain. The technician was able to remove and clear as much as possible. The toilet was reset and tested. Working properly. No Warranty.

JIG Plumbing arrived on site to inspect a reported water leak from the second floor leaking into the garage ceiling below. Upon inspection and diagnostic testing, the source of the leak was located at the 1-1/2” PVC waste and overflow assembly. JIG Plumbing exposed the affected area and removed the existing 1-1/2” PVC waste and overflow. The assembly was replaced with a new ABS P-Trap and waste/overflow components. After installation, the system was tested and no leaks were present from the newly installed drain components. During final testing, an additional leak was observed when the handheld shower was activated and water was sprayed onto the valve trim cover and tub spout area. JIG Plumbing removed the existing caulking around the tub spout and valve trim cover and applied new white silicone caulking to seal the area. Upon arrival, the technician was shown a Takagi tankless water heater that was not functioning properly. The technician inspected the unit and found it displaying error code 121, which indicates a “loss of flame.” After discussing options with the customer, it was decided to first attempt a maintenance service to address potential causes by flushing the unit and cleaning the flame rods. The technician isolated the tankless water heater, connected a circulation pump, and flushed the heat exchanger with a manufacturer-approved descaling solution to remove mineral buildup. After the flush was completed, the unit was thoroughly rinsed with clean water and returned to normal configuration. The technician then accessed the burner assembly and removed and cleaned the flame rods to remove carbon buildup and help restore proper flame sensing. The unit was reassembled and tested. JIG Plumbing will open the drywall to find the failed pipe. Water damage has occurred inside the dining room and in the drywall in the garage. The technician found a failed 1/2” soft copper line leading to the laundry hot side shut off valve. The failure appears to be recent, and the customer head the noise last night and shut off the water. The technician removed the failed section of pipe and replaced it with new Pex. Additionally, he replaced the existing gate valve with a new whole house shut off ball valve. Due to the age of the piping in the home, replacing all hot and cold water supply piping is recommended.

Arrived to diagnose a gas leak. Gas Company shut gas at meter. Line was pressurized with air to determine were the leak was. The technician found the leak at water heater gas valve. New one and flex line were installed.

Arrived to install a customer supplied lav faucet at the hallway restroom. All connections were checked . Everything working properly.

Upon arrival, the technician observed wet carpet in the living room area. After further investigation to determine the source of the moisture, the technician traced the leak to the wall cavity behind the toilet located on the opposite side of the fireplace. Inspection revealed that the water was leaking from the water supply line inside the wall behind the toilet shut-off valve. The stub-out supplying the toilet was copper, although the home’s plumbing system is primarily PEX. The copper section had burst, allowing water to escape into the wall and migrate into the adjacent living room area, saturating the carpet. To correct the issue, the technician cut out the damaged section of copper piping back to the PEX line and rebuilt the water supply connection, properly transitioning from PEX to a copper stub-out. JIG Plumbing came out to inspect customer plumbing concerns and provide estimate/s. JIG Plumbing will perform the following work: 1. Hose Bib Replacement Replace existing 3/4” soldered hose bib. Attempt to unsolder and remove the existing hose bib without opening exterior stucco. If successful, solder on a new MIP (Male Iron Pipe) or FIP (Female Iron Pipe) fitting. Install a new threaded 3/4” hose bib. 2. Master Bathroom Shower Valve Replacement Remove and replace the existing shower cartridge did not work unfortunately defective shower valve was affected by hard water causing shower head to leak. Front side access to replace tub/shower valve with repair plate style trim. 3. New 3/4" prv with ball valve and hose bib rebuild. New water pressure set at 75psi. Test for proper operation and leaks after installation.

Arrived to inspect and unclog a toilet in the upstairs master bathroom. The technician attempted to Auger and was not able to reach the stoppage. A longer cable was used from a pulled toilet to attempt to clear the stoppage. The technician was successful and was able to clear the stoppage. The toilet was reset with new wax rings and connected to water and tested. The toilet was flush several times . No leaks , working properly.

JIG Plumbing Arrived to inspect Customer's Hallway Toilet. JIG Performed a partial rebuild on a toilet and Replaced Broken Handle. Toilet is now properly flushing and has stopped continuously running at this time.

The technician arrived onsite to install a customer-supplied Cloud Reverse Osmosis System beneath the kitchen sink. Upon inspection of the existing plumbing configuration, the technician determined that modifications to the current water loop were required to properly supply and distribute filtered water. The technician cut into the existing cold-water loop under the sink and installed two new angle stop valves. One angle stop was installed to provide a dedicated supply line to the reverse osmosis system. The second angle stop was installed to supply filtered water to the refrigerator line, ensuring both the RO faucet and refrigerator receive properly treated water independently. To mount the reverse osmosis faucet, the technician measured and drilled a 1-1/4” hole through the granite countertop, taking care to prevent cracking or surface damage. Arrived to inspect a couple of fixtures and provided estimates. JIG Plumbing replaced a customer supplied fill valve for the hallway toilet. We provided and replaced the flapper. The technician also replaced the hot and cold shut off valves and supply lines for the lav faucet.

JIG Plumbing will open drywall to determine the source of the leak. Drywall patch not included. After opening the drywall ceiling and running water, the technician found water coming down in two places: by the shower flange and also closer to the shower valve. See photos, yellow markings. The technician also removed the shower trim and handle to inspect for leaks/moisture. He also inspected the tub spout. There are no noticeable leaks or moisture by the tub spout or trim plate at this time. JIG Plumbing referred the customer to our shower pan specialist.

JIG Plumbing will open a section of the ceiling in the downstairs restroom in order to locate the source of the leak. Once found, the technician will give a separate estimate for corrections. JIG Plumbing will remove a leaking MoenTrol shower cartridge, and replace with a new cartridge. Technician will test thoroughly to ensure there are no further issues.

JIG Plumbing will install the 1/4” tubing to the fridge with an isolation valve behind the fridge connected to the 1/4” tube. We will locate the fridge according to the customers preferences, ensure it’s plugged in, and check functionality and for leaks. The fridge is receiving water. It is recommended to leave the fridge as it stands and refrain from pushing the fridge back any further.

Arrived to replace the hot and cold angle stops for the washer. After installing the technician turned the water back on and Checked for leaks. Working properly. The supply lines were left uninstalled per customer request.
