JIG Plumbing will attempt to replace the broken Moen cartridge in the upstairs master bathroom. If we cannot remove the cartridge, we will need to replace the entire valve. Although we will be careful not to damage the trim, There is a small possibility that the technician may damage the handle setting or the trim in the process of removing the cartridge. The cartridge replacement went as planned. We installed a new cartridge and checked for leaks. The technician also added new clear caulking to the trim plate and tub spout. JIG Plumbing will also replace the Moen Posi temp shower cartridge in the master bathtub while on site. The technician noticed water dripping from the very base of the master tub spout. JIG Plumbing will return and replace the tub spout with a customer supplied, chrome, 7.5” compression tub spout without diverter.

JIG Plumbing will install new stainless steel venting, in order to replace the improper existing venting, which is causing strain in the tankless, and forcing error codes. Drywall may need to be removed, in order to remove the existing venting, which will then give access to run the new venting. Once the new venting is installed, it will be tested thoroughly to ensure that there are no further error codes related to the venting.

Upon completion of call with Noritz it is determined that the combustion chamber of the tankless unit requires cleaning which will include disassembling the chamber and rebuilding. We will clean inner cabinet and flame rods as well, if any issues persist upon completion of this service we will continue diagnostics with assistance of Noritz.

JIG Plumbing will install a customer supplied toilet in the hallway restroom. We will haul away the old one. The technician after installing the new toilet will check for any leaks and make sure it’s working properly.

Upon arrival, the technician was shown a burst galvanized water line in the backyard. The technician then excavated about 1.5 ft deep to expose where the galvanized connected to the pvc. The technician then cut the pvc and removed the galvanized and then rebuilt using heavy duty type L copper and installed a new hose bib. Once rebuilt, the technician tuned on the water and tested. Then the technician backfilled the dirt and reset the rocks.

JIG Plumbing will excavate the ground near the meter box and irrigation shut off valve. When the irrigation is turned on for the parkway, water bubbles up from the ground. Technician will place the grass off to the side, and expose the issue. Once exposed, a repair estimate will be submitted. JIG Plumbing will cap an irrigation line in the parkway, as this is the cause for the leak. Technician will make repairs, and backfill the dirt, after testing the line to ensure proper functionality. Tightened up nut for pop up lever in right side sink in master restroom complimentary.

Mainline hydro jet with camera inspection to determine condition of sewer line and provide further est. if necessary. Perform cable service of drain line through access with camera inspection.

Hallway shower Upon arrival the customer stated the shower backs up when in use. The technician ran water and it backed up immediately. The technician gave the customer options and the customer decided on just snaking the drain line. The drain was snaked at trap and line. Hair and accumulation out. 30 days warranty.

Upon of arrival, Customer is having water pressure issues to the home it appears to be very low throughout the house. Homeowner states he got a water softener. System installed not too long ago by another company, and believes they might’ve messed with the pressure regulator. Pressure: 55psi Pressure regulator is not acceptable, PRV located inside drywall right above access panel. JIG Plumbing will need access to existing PRV before providing customer with options. We will be abandoning existing 3/4” PRV and hard pipe 3/4” copper water line. Due to water pressure coming existing mainline before 3/4” PRV is at 65psi. Existing valve is over 7 years old. Water pressure to home is now 65psi without a pressure regulator. Average water pressure (60-90PSI) anything over 90PSI is considered excessive high water pressure.

JIG Plumbing will flush the 2013 Rinnai tankless water heater heat exchanger to remove scale buildup and extend the lifespan of the unit. The unit is over 10 years old and has never been flushed. On rare occasions, flushing the heat exchanger can expose existing damage caused by scale buildup. If this is the case, we will recommend replacing the unit. No warranty for flushes. The technician noticed rush on the water heater inlet gas pipe. He sprayed it with PB Blaster which prevents corrosion. He also sprayed the gas meter outlet piping. It is recommended to sand and paint these gas pipes to prevent future corrosion. The technician confirmed the water heater is operational and the water is hot before leaving.

Upon arrival, the technician was unable to recreate the error code 90. **Customer is receiving the membership price** Please get authorization signatures before beginning work. The downstairs hall toilet base is discolored. JIG Plumbing will reset the downstairs hall toilet with a new wax ring seal. Provided the flange is in good condition, we will replace the bolts and reset the toilet without needing any additional repairs. (We will be replacing the shut off valve behind the toilet, see next section) Warranty: 30 day warranty on parts and labor. JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new water heater shut off valve, replacing th existing gate valve. The gate valve will be unsoldered off, in order to accommodate the new valve. A threaded fitting will be installed, and a threaded valve after that. Technician will include a new supply line as well, and reconnect to the water heater.

Installed 2 customer supplied laundry valves and a customer supplied gas valve to allow the customer to have their washer and dryer installed.

Upon arrival, the existing Whirlpool heater is not heating up. The technician examined the setup and proposed 3 options, including required safety upgrades. JIG Plumbing will remove and dispose of the existing 50 gallon water heater. JIG Plumbing will provide and install a new 50 gallon Bradford White water heater with a new smith pan to protect the drywall, new gas valve, supply line, and sediment trap, new emergency shut off valve, new 3/4 male adapters on both hot and cold stub outs, new stainless steel corrugated water supply lines, new thermal expansion tank and 3/4” solid brass connections. Upon arrival the customer walked us thru all the issues that need attention. The master shower valve was replaced with a new customer supplied Delta. Work was done from behind at the wall where the toilet is. A panel is in place. Trim and handle are being shipped, once it arrives the customer will call back.
