We will install new thermostatic control cartridges and turn on the water to check functionality. Once the functionality of the new parts is confirmed, we will check for leaks. The technician turned the water on to the home and checked for leaks. The thermostatic control cartridges are operational. The pressure was set to 50 psi. The technician received approval from the customer to increase the pressure to 80 psi. There is low pressure to the downstairs hall faucet and the two upstairs master faucets. These faucets do not have an aerator to clean debris. The customer plans to replace these faucets, as well as other fixtures.

Upon arrival, the technician began excavation in the front yard near the main water service riser to expose and identify the source of the reported water leak. After carefully digging and exposing the piping, two separate leaks were discovered. The first leak was located on a 1” PVC gate valve supplying the backyard irrigation system. Once the leak is located, provided the leak is in a normal and accessible location, we will cut a square in the concrete (roughly 2’x2’), expose the leak, and repair it with permanent solution fittings. The technician arrived on site and removed and properly disposed of the existing one-piece toilet. Upon inspection customer had informed us that they recently repaired a faulty toilet flapper, after inspection of system it is determined that the repaired flapper also solved the leak in the system and no further repairs are required at this time.

The technician removed the garbage disposal and found that the blockage was from the disposal. The technician provided and installed a new 1/2 HP Moen garbage disposal. He checked for leaks before leaving. He cleaned the area and made sure the customer is satisfied with the cleanliness of her home. JIG Plumbing arrived and found that the middle sink with the garbage disposal and the right side sink are clogged. The left side sink is draining fine. JIG Plumbing will attempt to clear the blockage in the kitchen sink by snaking the drain to the connection. Once the connection is reached, the snake will clear the blockage. If the blockage cannot be cleared, we will escalate to the next option. In this option, we will snake past the blockage and snake 20 feet of the kitchen line preventatively. Warranty: no warranty on the work since food could be put down the disposal and clog it again anytime. JIGPlumbing had to come back to fix the previous repair done. Due to the water not being able to shut down completely, the fittings did not dry properly.

Upon arrival the customer walked us to the area of concern. The water to the irrigation lines were off. Once we exposed the pvc pipe, water was turned back on and the leak was found. JIGPlumbing will re connect with new fittings and let it dry before testing. The water will not be turned on until possibly Friday, The customer will have their gardener back fill once the water in turned back on and check for any leaks. 1 year warranty on parts and labor.

Upon arrival, the technician was shown a subzero refrigerator that was leaking underneath. After further investigation, the technician found a pressurized water line connecting to underneath the subzero refrigerator had burst which resulted in flooding into kitchen area. Estimate for repairs will be provided. Leak at ice maker. The technician will enter the crawlspace and cut out the existing ice maker line and cap it. Then the technician installed a new line behind the cabinets from under the kitchen sink to the refrigerator. This way the tenet would be able to connect the ice maker line to the reverse osmosis system. The technician ran the line all the way to the drawer next to the refrigerator. To connect the line the customer must have a subzero refrigerator technician come out to pull out the refrigerator in order to connect the water line.

The technician was informed that another plumbing company was out a week ago to snake the kitchen drain line. The customer states that ever since then, there has been a foul smell. Upon investigation, the technician found a 2” drain line under the kitchen sink that was open, allowing the sewer gases to vent out through the pipe and into the kitchen. The technician will install a 2” cap to prevent further sewer gases from escaping into the building.
