In conclusion to hydro jetting technician was able to locate section believing to be a test T fitting being compromised and or a broken section of sewer pipe. Technician suggests either removing that section of pipe and or installing sewer liner to eliminate re-growth of roots. Technician also snaked and ran pressurized water to insure laundry drain line is clear, technician then ran water hose to insure optimal flow is occurring. Technician suggests that their also might be a possible leak within the washing machine unit and suggests to have an appliance technician to diagnose for possible issues.

Technician will have to isolate water from building and drain properly to avoid any flooding, once building is drained technician will remove both leaking anglestops and will replace them with 1/4 turn valves. Once complete technician will pressurize building to insure their are no leaks.

Upon arrival, the technician determined that water damage in the home was caused by a soft stoppage in the toilet, allowing water to spread throughout the property. The toilet was removed to access the drain line. A closet auger was utilized to clear the blockage of organic matter within the 3-inch waste line. After snaking the line, a high-pressure water jet was employed to thoroughly flush the line clear. The toilet was re-set using a new wax ring seal. The flapper and fill valve were replaced with new components. The toilet was tested to verify no leaks and proper operation.

This process involves carefully removing the existing fixture, replacing the wax seal, and ensuring the flange is at the correct level and secure. Upon arrival technician noticed connection point of the shower head was loose which had caused the water to spray backwards into the wall. Technician removed and applied pipe thread sealant, once applied technician re tightened shower head to eliminate issue. Technician recommended to call restoration to investigate if their is any damage.

Arrived on site to inspect the issue with no hot water to the shower. Technician found the valve has flow restrictions built in that are getting clogged with debris and won’t allow enough hot water to flow to turn on the tankless water heater. Since this is an uncommon valve we do not know if the flow restrictors are able to be removed and do not want to break anything in order to find out. We recommend replacing shower valve to a better and more reliable valve and will provide estimate to do so.

Technician will perform camera inspection via access sewer clean out. In conclusion to camera inspection technician was able to determine main cause of main line sewer issues are multiple points of root intrusion extending over to the city saddle. Technician highly recommends to hydro jet line to properly maintenance drain. Technician also recommends to snake and or hydro jet lateral laundry drain due to constant back ups occurring.

Technician will utilize electronic leak detection equipment to assess any possible slab leaks. In conclusion to diagnosis, technician was able to conclude that the home is not experiencing a slab leak of any pressurized water lines. Technician did however noticed mass corrosion build up on copper lines due to the age of the pipe. Technician has also tested tub drainage by running water and observing if there were any leaks. Technician was able to concluded that p-trap for tub inclosure was not leaking. RECOMMENDATION: Technician highly advises to repipe home due to the age of the plumbing from 1970s, and home currently having multiple slab water lines within the concrete. Technician noticed multiple shut-off valves highly corroded and would leak even though they are shut off. Restoration utilized caps due to the ongoing issue. Ice maker box is also improperly installed due to the existing supply line within the wall. Please refer to photos in invoice.

Technician located leak on top of water heater that was located at the copper supply line. Technician replaced supply line with steel Braided supply line.

Mainline cable through exterior 3” clean out. Septic was pumped yesterday but drains were still clogged. Used electric snake to clear stoppage through a 3” clean out behind the kitchen. Once cleared, tested fixtures for proper drainage. Underneath the back of the house where the bathroom is located, noticed a sewer smell. Looked underneath the house and found a pool of water. Tenet said her husband pulled and reset the toilet yesterday and that is where the water came from. Upon running water and flushing toilets, did not see any drips or the pool of water change in any way.

Technician recommended to replace water heater due to existing one leaking from the base of the tank.

Upon arrival error code 10 appeared in the water heater gas control valve. Technician re lit water heater and error code no longer occurred. Technician also recommended to install gas sediment trap and flex line to the water heater.

Technician will remove a total of two flappers and one fill valve for guest restrooms due to the existing ones malfunctioning caused by age. Master bathroom toilet will have to be pulled and rest due to current wax ring being compromised and toilet rocking. Once stabilized technician will insure their are no leaks and optimal flow is occurring properly for all toilets.

After inspection, leak was found at the pvc T on the south west corner of the house. This line is connected to the main, then it converts to copper with a ball valve and a hose bib. The area of repair will have to exposed for a couple of days, just to make sure there are no leaks.
