Upon arrival, the technician was shown mold present on the downstairs ceiling below the bathroom. The technician opened the drywall in the ceiling to diagnose the source of the issue. During inspection, it was determined that the toilet above was leaking from a failed wax seal. The technician removed the toilet to further inspect the connection and found the toilet flange was completely rusted, deteriorated, and crumbling, preventing the toilet from sealing properly. Before resetting the toilet, the technician performed a toilet flange repair. New mounting hardware was installed at the floor to properly secure and reinforce the existing flange so the toilet could be properly sealed. Arrived to diagnose a toilet stoppage. The technician was able to present options to resolve the issue. The employees toilet was pulled to be able to snake the drain line. The drain line was successfully clear, wipes and paper towels came out. No warranty. A camera inspection was done and the drain line looks in good condition. At about 45 feet in in transitions to cast iron, and can be rough enough to trap wipes , paper towels, feminine products. Both toilets are flushing properly, the floor sink was tested as well.

The technician provided the customer with an estimate to perform a reroute of a water line. The customer previously had a handyman and a plumber inspect the area; both opened the wall to diagnose the issue and provided quotes for work that would require opening concrete for direct access. The estimate provided by our technician reflects the work required to properly reroute the water line, taking into account the previous assessments.

JIG Plumbing responded to repair a damaged 2” ABS drain line serving the upstairs secondary drains. Upon arrival, we opened a section of drywall to access the affected piping. We removed and replaced approximately 5–6 feet of 2” ABS pipe. JIG Plumbing arrived to replace a hose bib at the back yard, a Moen shower cartridge at the hallway restroom upstairs. Installed 2 customer supplied shower heads, and a pull and reset toilet. The technician noticed a hairline crack inside the tank of the toilet and made the customer aware. Once all the work was done the water was turned back on to test everything and for leaks. Arrived to inspect possible leak with customer, during i section it appears leak only occurs when it is raining and that area where gutter runs water to ground may be compromised and allowing water to pass through wall to inside home. It was recommended to customer to seek service from gutter or roofing service.
