Heavy calcium accumulation in the drain line, had to go in a couple of times to clear the stoppage. The urinal was set back in place and tested several times while flushing.

Responded to Call: Responded to a service call to provide an estimate for replacement of a pressure-reducing valve. Scope of Work / Findings: Upon arrival, water pressure to the home was tested and found to be approximately 130 PSI, which is well above the recommended operating range and indicates a failed or failing pressure-reducing valve. During the visit, the client also requested an inspection of an upstairs toilet that continued to run and refill even after the fill valve and flapper had already been replaced by the homeowner. After inspection and discussion, it was explained to the client that the issue is most likely related to a worn or failing flush valve assembly. Upon arrival the contact person mentioned that the area of concern was at the ceiling in the dining room area. A small section was cut open already upon arrival. The technician noticed that the overflow cover was set upside down, this could eventually cause water to leak over time if the gasket goes bad. The water was turned on to the bathtub and water was being splashed around the tub spout, trim and handle and the overflow cover. The technician checked the drain, felt around it for any water. At this time it doesn’t appear to be leaking, this could have been caused by an old leak, from either the drain or the shower valve. This will conclude the inspection.

Upon arrival, the customer described to the technician his water heater repairs. He successfully replaced the igniter, then the pilot assembly. However, when the burner ignites, there is a massive flame and makes an unusual noise. After discussing the customers needs, the technician provided the customer with the information he was looking for to take care of the issue with his water heater. Additionally, the technician took the water pressure to the home. Pressure is at 80 psi which is within an acceptable range, however, the pressure drops to 50 psi when a toilet is flushed. Replacing the Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) is recommended. There is no corrosion or issues under the kitchen sink at this time. In the hall bathroom, there is significant corrosion on the emergency shut off valves (angle stops) under the sink. Replacement is recommended. In the master bathroom, the toilet runs constantly. JIGPLUMBING will attempt to clear the toilet by using an auger if the auger has no success. The technician will then pull the toilet and check the main line.. After running water into the closet bend, it appears the drain line is ok. Once the toilet was reset, the technician checked the port hole in the toilet and noticed it was clogged. The technician did as best as possible to clear most of the debris in the port hole and flushed several times. It is recommended to replace the toilet due to heavy buildup inside the trap of the toilet.

Installed a customer supplied kitchen sink faucet.

Perform cable service of drain line through access with camera inspection. It was stated by the contact person that when these toilets are used heavily in the women’s restroom, water starts to seep from the base of the toilets. This is not related to the previous scope of work done by hydrojetting. A camera inspection was done before snaking it, since it appeared the line was not backed up at the time. Throughout the drain line it was noticed that there is heavy scale buildup, which could eventually catch heavy amounts of paper or other such as paper towels , tampons. The drain line was then snaked and nothing came back up with the blades. JIGPLUMBING recommendations is to have this drain line De Scaled to avoid any future stoppages.

Upon arrival the customer stated that he tried to replace the basket strainer on an outside sink, but keeps leaking. The technician did a quick inspection and recommended replacing it with a new one. Once the new one was installed,the technician ran water and tested for leaks. Working properly 90 days warranty on parts and labor.

Building F Drain line coming down from upstairs kitchen had a stoppage. Snaked at the clean out by undoing the trap. Heavy grease and accumulation out, no warranty. Recommend Hydro Jetting the drain line.

Upon arrival, Customer is concerned about leaking faucet master bathroom. Customer would like to get done before closing escrow Oct 24, 2025 Water pressure is extremely high 120psi (Average water pressure 60-75psi) High water pressure high risk for leaking faucets/ fixtures or even pipe burst 💥 Pressure regulator is very important.

The technician noticed the right side men’s urinal drains very slow, if at all. JIG Plumbing will auger the urinal to attempt to clear the drain. If the auger is unsuccessful, we must remove the urinal and snake the drain once the urinal is removed. We will reset the urinal and check for leaks. Should any of the flush valve components leak, we will provide pricing for replacement. The urinal auger was successful. The urinal is draining well at this time. It is highly recommended to purchase and use Urinal descaler to further break up scale within the urinal trap and drain line. The technician opened the hot side shut off valve for the women’s right side bathroom faucet. Additionally, to fix the smell issue in the restrooms, the technician poured water into the floor drain traps to prevent sewer smells from entering the restrooms. It is recommended to occasionally check the water level in the traps either a flashlight and pour water into them. It is also recommended to have strainer

Install customer supplied one piece Kohler toilet. Upon removing old toilet, the technician found an excessive amount of roots intruding into the line from toilet access. The technician then used an electric snake to clear the branch line through the toilet access and then used a camera to inspect the line. The technician found that there was also roots coming from the branch kitchen line and the other toilet line. Recommend maintenance of both lines to prevent stoppages or damage. Once the line was clear and inspected, the technician installed the new toilet with a new wax seal and mounting hardware. Tested toilet thoroughly for leaks and functionality.

Once the water is turned back on, it will be inspected to ensure proper functionality. Tech will also install a new 3” flapper and customer supplied fill valve for the same toilet.
