Arrived to inspect and diagnose a shower stoppage. The hallway shower was snaked at trap and line. Accumulation out.

Upon arrival, the technician excavated the area to locate the existing galvanized water line in the ground. The technician exposed a suitable section of galvanized piping and cleaned and prepped the pipe to properly install a new galvanized plug into the existing 90-degree fitting to seal off the abandoned line. Due to the age and condition of the galvanized piping, extra care was taken during the repair process to avoid compromising the existing line. Once the repair was completed, the technician tested the line and verified that the plugged section was holding properly with no visible leaks present at the time of service. The repair includes a 3-day warranty on the repaired section only. Warranty does not cover existing deteriorated galvanized piping, future failures, or replacement of the line if additional issues occur.

Upon arrival technician will unjam garbage disposal from any debris. Once unjammed technician will then insure unit is functioning properly and that optimal flow is occurring. Technician also removed surface hair from drain plug and insured optimal flow was occurring within the tub.

JIG Plumbing performed cable service on the drain line through the existing access point and completed a camera inspection. We were able to reach the stoppage and successfully clear the obstruction to restore flow. During the camera inspection, we were unable to fully determine the cause or overall condition of the line because excessive grease buildup coated the camera lens and limited visibility inside the pipe. We highly recommend performing a hydro jetting service to thoroughly remove grease buildup and any remaining obstructions within the main line. Once the line is properly cleaned, a follow-up camera inspection is recommended to accurately diagnose and evaluate the condition of the grease interceptor and drain system.

Installed new tub/shower valve, trim, riser, and handheld shower assembly. Original customer-supplied valve was found to be incorrect for the existing setup, requiring technician to source the proper replacement valve and return for completion of installation. Bathroom faucet replacement was declined after inspection due to risk of causing unnecessary damage, and no visible issues were found with the existing faucet. Tested completed installation thoroughly for proper operation and leaks.

JIG Plumbing installed commercial graded kitchen handheld sprayer. Upon inspection of existing plumbing, technician recommends re-plumbing hot and cold water supply lines feeding the sprayer faucet to help prevent future leaks. Recommendation includes replacing both existing angle stop shutoff valves and installing properly hard-plumbed copper water lines with approved shutoff valves behind stainless steel utility sink. Existing plumbing components appear outdated and may be susceptible to future leakage. No additional repairs performed at this time unless otherwise approved by customer.

Arrived to inspect a water leak behind the hallway toilet. After a brief inspection, while flushing the toilet water started to seep from the base at the back of it. When the technician removed the existing old wax ring, it was noticed that the flange was lower than the floor, about 1 inch. The technician was approved to make the corrections and install the flange. The toilet was then reset and tested, flushing several times. Working properly.

Upon arrival, the technician diagnosed the customer’s existing 30-gallon mobile home water heater and found the unit had failed due to a defective gas control valve and failed thermocouple. The technician also confirmed that the existing water heater model has been discontinued and replacement parts are no longer available, making repair not a viable option. The technician will remove and dispose of the existing water heater and replace it with a new Bradford White 30-gallon mobile home water heater. Installation will include bringing the system up to current code requirements. The technician will replace both the hot and cold water supply lines, replace the gas supply connection, and install a new sediment trap on the gas line for proper appliance protection and code compliance. Arrived to snake and do a camera inspection at a laundry clean out in the garage. Drain appears to be clear and draining properly.

Technician performed a complete tankless water heater flush to thoroughly remove built-up sediment and help restore proper system performance and efficiency. As part of the service, the technician isolated the unit, circulated descaling solution through the heat exchanger, and completed a full flush of the system. Technician also removed, cleaned, and examined both the water inlet filter and the air inlet filter to ensure proper water flow and combustion air intake. No replacement parts or warranty on any existing components are included with this service. If any parts are found to require replacement prior to or after the flush service, additional repairs and costs would be required.

Upon arrival, the technician was shown an emergency shut off valve underneath the kitchen sink where the handle had broken off and the valve was actively leaking from the body of the valve. Prior to the technician’s arrival, the customer attempted to shut off the water to the home at the main shut off valve, but the existing gate valve would not fully shut down the water to the property. Due to the failed gate valve, the technician was required to shut the water off at the meter before repairs could be performed safely. The technician first replaced the failed gate valve located on the water service riser with a new quarter-turn ball valve to restore proper control of the home’s water supply and provide a more reliable main shut off valve moving forward. JIG Plumbing preformed diagnostics to identify the cause of the leak. This process includes disassembling the valve, inspecting the condition of the cartridges, and flushing the valve in case debris is lodged inside. In some cases, flushing may resolve the issue; however, it is not guaranteed. This procedure is part of a process of elimination. Once the inspection is complete and findings are determined, we will provide the customer with appropriate repair options if needed. The technician arrived on site to perform a maintenance flush on the tankless water heater. The unit was isolated, and a descaling solution was circulated through the system to remove mineral buildup and restore proper efficiency. The technician cleaned the water inlet filter and inspected all accessible service valves and connections during the process. Upon completion, the system was returned to normal service and is operating as intended at this time.

Since the new faucet did not utilize the separate side sprayer opening in the sink, the technician installed the customer-supplied sink hole cover to properly seal and finish the unused opening. Highly recommend replacing 1” PRV and installing water filtration system to protect home. **Important notes: 1.)The water pressure at the property is measuring **100 PSI**, which is higher than the recommended residential range of **50–80 PSI**. This indicates the **1” Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)** is no longer regulating the pressure properly.
