Upon arrival the customer stated that water puddled up in the master bathroom next to the toilet. The technician tried to re create the issue and no water was visible. All the connections are dry. The customer will observe the toilet to see if it happens again. The technician also snaked the kitchen sink at the clean out, and another 2” drain at the clean out which is directly below one of the upstairs restrooms. New shut off valve, pressure regulator, MoenFlo, fittings, and hose bibs will be installed, and tested after installation to ensure proper functionality and a lack of leaks. JIG Plumbing will also install a customer supplied water heater, making the connections to the water and gas lines, and ensure that it is secured. Once installed, it will be tested to ensure proper functionality.

JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new pop up assembly for the master right hand sink, as it is heavily corroded. Once installed, it will be tested to ensure proper functionality and a lack of leaks. Technician will also remove debris from the downstairs restroom sink, s it is draining very slowly. Once debris is removed, it will be tested to ensure a proper flow of water. Technician will also reassemble kitchen drainage to alleviate a leak at the tee. Once reassembled, it will be tested to ensure proper functionality, and a lack of leaks.

JIG Plumbing will use the snake to clear of any obstructions in master restroom shower, and test thoroughly in order to ensure there are no further issues. Homeowner gave permission to cut shower grate in order to insert the cable.

Upon arrival the customer walked me towards the area of concern. 2 toilets and a shower upstairs seem to have a stoppage. The technician did a thorough inspection ran water in the shower and it started to back up in both toilets. The technician recommended removing one of the toilets to snake the drain line from there and try to clear it. The technician went ahead and pulled one of the toilets and snaked the drain line. Accumulation out. No warranty due to improper access. Once clear the toilet was reset and both toilets and shower were running water and flushed several times. After further inspection the technician found the only solution was to replace the valve due to the damage to the valve. The technician then cut open the fiberglass shower around the valve and proceeded to replace the old style delta valve with a new Moen posi-temp valve. Once installed the technician turned back on the water and tested thoroughly. The technician then installed the shower trim and tub spout and tested once more. Warranty: 2 years parts and labor on shower valve (The technician also noticed some existing cracks in the fiberglass tub/shower enclosure. JIG referred Bathbrite for repairs. The customer also requested a drywall referral to repair ceiling underneath the shower.)

Once open, the water will be turned of, so the technician may remove a section of water line, and replace with a new section, as well as a new laundry valve. Upon arrival, the tech was informed of a flood that happened in the upstairs bathroom at the toilet that caused water to fall from the lights in the downstairs kitchen ceiling. The technician turned on the toilet and tested but was unable to recreate the any sort of leak or flood. Based off the customers state of events and the current water damage, the technician concluded there must have been a soft stoppage that cleared itself after flooding the upstairs bathroom. As a precaution, the technician also replaced the supply line for the toilet due to age and condition. The technician also recommends replacing the toilet due to age and condition as well.

Upon arrival, the customer attempted to snake the drain from the hall cleanout with his 1/4” drill snake. The end of the snake broke in the mainline. When the kitchen or laundry runs, water backs up in the kitchen sink and from the laundry standpipe and overflowed. Drain is currently backed up. There is a one way cleanout in the garage and a 4” two way cleanout just outside the garage, neither are holding water. The customer reported that the upstairs and downstairs restrooms are draining well, including all lavatory sinks and toilets. JIG Plumbing will attempt to clear the drain from the 1-1/2” cleanout in the closet. We will run 1/2” cable to clear the drain. After attempting to clear the drain 3 times, we attempted to clear the drain with a 1/4” cable from the laundry cleanout, however, the snake was binding up and getting stuck. JIG Plumbing found that the toilet is leaking sewage from the bottom. There is no leaking from the tank to bowl connection, supply line, or any other noticeable source. JIG PLUMBING will remove the existing toilet and clean underneath. We will then replace the toilet bolts, wax ring, and after cleaning the floor we will reset the toilet. We will add clear caulking sealant after the toilet is set. We will check the flow before setting the toilet. We will also flush the toilet several times to check for leaks. We cannot account for potential conditions, such as a broken flange or a cracked toilet. If the conditions are worse than initially expected, we will confirm the price and customers approval before proceeding. 90 day warranty for workmanship. When the technician attempted to shut off the water, the valve did not shut off all the way. The technician cut off the existing valve connected to Pex, added a push to connect adapter, and a threaded quarter turn emergency shut off valve.

Jig Plumbing did a complementary camera inspection thru an already cut and exposed ABS 2” drain line. Within 3 ft there were some roots, and further in at about 6 1/2 ft there was heavy root intrusion. The customer was informed about snaking the drain line first , then continue with Hydro Jetting it. This will give us a better view of the condition of the drain line. The heavy root intrusion was located in front of the washer area. JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new 50 gallon water heater, as well as a new expansion tank, new gas sediment trap, new gas shut off and supply line, new stainless steel water supply lines, and a drain pan.
