The water drained properly, water backs up into the laundry sink due to the drain not being leveled correctly. Clear your main drain from an inside access point using an electric snake. Evaluate your drain piping using a video inspection camera. Once line was clear, the technician was able to see an offset where the abs piping meets clay which is where debris is catching and building up. Will provide an estimate to repair.

JIGPlumbing came to do do an inspection on a previously repaired water line. The regulator was disassembled and cleaned out and reinstalled. Water was then turned on to test. Working properly.

The technician then opened the walls inside the closet behind both bathrooms and discovered the water was not coming from the showers. After further discussion with the customer, the technician was informed that the last person to pull the toilet did not replace the wax seal. The technician then pulled the toilet, cleaned, and prepared the mounting system at the floor and reset the toilet with a new wax seal and mounting hardware. While pulling the toilet, the technician found only a small amount of leaking which would not cause the damage. Upon further investigation, the technician found that water may be leaking through the tile in the remodeled bathroom. Recommend contacting restoration company to discuss options.

The technician cleared the stoppage and retrieved heavy paper towels and accumulation. No Warranty A courtesy camera inspection was done as well and it is recommended that this drain line be De Scaled. Due to heavy build up. Upon arrival a contact person let me know what the issue is and I was able to proceed. The technician got approval to attempt to snake the drain. After several attempts to snake the drain line with 2 different snake machines,the technician was only able to go in about a foot and 1/2. The technician came to a conclusion that this line is not operational, it’s possible the line is crushed,plugged or dead. The technician gave options to either repair the line or just to plug it. This concludes the scope of work. No warranty.

JIGPlumbing will do a camera inspection from an already pulled toilet. Heavy paper and debri was stuck on the back water valve in the garage floor. It was removed and flushed out. JIGPlumbing will come back and follow up with hydro jetting from the toilet that was originally pulled. The toilet is reset for now. On 05/29/25 the technician came back to hydro Jett the drain line from the toilet that was originally pulled. Once the hydro jetting was done, the technician did a camera inspection and at about 22” feet in there is some type of material on the horizontal line, whether it’s organic or not, the jetted did not remove it and also tried pushing with the camera and it didn’t move. Only alternative is to use the chain knockers with camera in place to try to remove whatever it is. Customer will wait and see, if this doesn’t affect anything. If so they will call us back to schedule to remove the debris. Unfortunately we cannot warranty this drain line.

JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new a Moen PosiTemp shower cartridge in the upstairs hallway restroom, as. The existing cartridge is damaged. Technician will as carefully as possible attempt to extract the cartridge without causing damage to the valve body. If the extraction is unsuccessful, a new shower valve will be necessary, and a separate estimate will be provided. JIG Plumbing will supply and install a new Moen PosiTemp shower valve and repair plate, as the existing valve needs replacement. Technician will remove a section of the shower enclosure in order to gain direct access to the water lines. The existing valve will be removed, and the water lines will be prepped for the new valve. Once the new valve is installed, it will be tested thoroughly to ensure proper functionality.

Upon arrival, the water heater pilot was set to OFF and the gas valve is closed. The vent is not fully connected. The water valve to the heater is old, the gas valve is old, there is no thermal expansion tank, and it has not been flushed in 7 years. JIG will add a small section of 3” b vent pipe to the top of the vent and make sure it is fully connected. We will install 3 self tapping screws to secure the pipe to code.
